Scouting Zombies…
Posted by: Sutu on May 16. 2011 at 12:14 pmI wrote this blog post a while back, but wasn’t allowed to publish it until we got permission from the kids parents to have their photos put online. We’ve got permission now.
So I’ve landed in the Pilbara region of WA, spent the weekend getting boozy with the Roebourne mob and spent today scouting zombies and shooting locations. The kids are freaking funny and way too energetic for zombification. I’m staying with some of Oz’s finest indigenous actors, Trevor Jamieson and Derek Lynch. Both of whom will be performing in Namitjira at the Malthouse theatre this August. Checkity check.

Salt flats… to think there’s been a drought here for the last six years, then all of a sudden the rain turns on. The last few days it’s been hammering down. I’m off to the ghost gums tomorrow and hopefully the mud flats. Will keep you all posted!
